A small group of stakeholders waited anxiously for the first international arrival of Delta Air Lines at the Canadian Rockies International Airport on Tuesday, August 19. They didn’t have to wait long! In fact, the sleek, newly painted 50 passenger jet arrived early!

A Delta Air Lines technical flight from Salt Lake City (SLC) will arrive at Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC) on Tuesday August 19, 2008.
The historic first flight between Delta’s western hub and the newly-expanded Canadian Rockies International Airport is designed to test and enhance aviation logistics and protocols as a prelude to scheduled service beginning December 17, 2008.
